With autumn upon us our thoughts turn to trying something new, like learning a craft, following up a hobby or gaining a qualification we have always wanted. The “young at heart” provide a wide range of activities and hobbies to suit everybody. End of Summer
As the end of summer approaches I am looking forward to a few days break next week in remote west Cork, taking to the road in the direction of the Beara Peninsula, I’m looking forward to shooting some landscapes and just chilling out. Before I go I will be covering the Munster 100 Road Races in Dunmanway this weekend where an estimated 10,000 spectators are expected and hopefully the weather keeps up for the occasion.

Cork South Central T.D. Michael McGrath has been informed in writing by the Chief Executive of the NRA that the authority expects to have sufficient funding in 2011 to proceed with the construction of the Bandon road and Sarsfield road flyovers as planned.
Deputy McGrath wrote to the NRA’s Chief Executive Mr. Fred Barry last month following media reports that the two flyovers were at risk due to funding constraints.
