HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

Category: Editor by Online Staff

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our clients and advertisers for their support through out the year and of course our contributors who have made the Douglas Post a better publication. Most of all I want to thank our readers who have made the Douglas Post the most popular weekly colour magazine in Cork and we look forward to growing and improving in 2010. I also want to thank those who have supported me throughout the year – my colleagues, my family and specially the Angel by my side.

To all those loved ones who are abroad this Christmas and to all those men and women of the Defence Forces, Gardaí, Emergency Services, Hospital staff etc who will be on duty this Christmas day – HAPPY CHRISTMAS!  Have a happy and safe Christmas one and all – do look in on elderly neighbours, drive carefully and I wish everyone a hopeful , prosperous and happy New Year! Good luck to all those brave swimmers on Christmas morning in Fountainstown and the oarsmen and women on the Marina on Stephen’s Morning as well as the other events taking place over the holiday period. I lost something lately through my own fault and it’s not until you lose something special that you realise just how precious it is. Maybe one day it’ll find its way back and if it does I won’t lose it again.
